The Nose

The child's form is based on a photograph taken by Erika Groth - Schmachtenberger in Spain in the 1950s.
These works are part of my third solo painting exhibition titled "The Child that lives within ourselves", which took place in the Municipal Gallery of Kallithea "Sophia Laskaridou" in December 2017 and deals with childhood concerns as well as the adult who remains always a child.
A little boy wiping his nose on his clothes brings us his own world of land and sky.
