The Mist

Materials used: charcoal, fixative, acrylic colors, markers, ink, oil pastels, clear varnish.
Year of production: 2016
The child's form is based on a photograph taken by Robert Doisneau in Paris in the 1935.
These works are part of my third solo painting exhibition titled "The Child that lives within ourselves", which took place in the Municipal Gallery of Kallithea "Sophia Laskaridou" in December 2017 and deals with childhood concerns as well as the adult who remains always a child.
The Child is scared and lost within a misty forest of his mind.
